This lovely Victorian building has five apartments on two floors. There is a laundry room and storage space available for residents in the basement. McKenzie House is within walking distance to the downtown shopping area and to the main CCTA bus terminal on Cherry Street.

Activities

As part of the larger McKenzie House community, activities include Bingo, holiday dinners, picnics and trips.

Services

The Maintenance Manager is available Monday through Friday for maintenance of the building and grounds. The Property Manager is on site every Monday afternoon to meet with residents. There is a resident Service Coordinator (RSC) employed by O'Brien Brothers Agency. The RSC assists residents at McKenzie House in accessing community services.

McKenzie House uses income targeting for prioritizing the waiting list, which is regulated and required by the federal government.
