Harold Stout, Maintenance Technician

Harold or “Jay R,” as he prefers to be addressed, works within the O’Brien Brothers residential and commercial properties wherever he is needed. He came to O’Brien Brothers Agency in early 2008 from the Deep South and brought his southern drawl along with him.

Jay R has a wide range of technical experience, which makes him fully qualified for his position with O’Brien Brothers. His degree in auto-diesel technology gives him knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and HVAC systems. Though Jay R is an experienced engine builder by trade, he has also worked in auto body shops, painted houses, performed electrical work in new home construction, and has metal-work and welding experience. With all of this knowledge and practice, it’s hard to imagine him as a college librarian, but he was! We are happy to have this well-rounded individual as a member of the O’Brien team.

In his off time, Jay R likes travel and new experiences. He loves to cook, specializing in Italian and southern food, and tauntingly says that he is nearly always ready for a challenging game of chess.
